I have been brainstorming ways to keep helping bring attention to bands I love other than the podcast, and I’m glad to now be writing these articles and giving you my “Band Of The Month.” If you know me from my Music Passion Magazine days, you know I did an Unsigned Band Of The Week campaign, and it was one of my favorite things I’ve ever done—so here we are again!

Now more than ever, it is SO important to support artists when and where you can. If that means buying merch, sharing a link, engaging with social media posts, going to a show, and so on—I hope these little features I’ll do each month help in some way beyond Stereo Therapy. I’m so happy to bring this to the Network! I KNOW so many may not be “podcast people.”

I thought it was only fitting to start with some bands I’ve had on the podcast that some people may have missed! I’m starting out with New Jersey’s own Palamino! I found Palamino on TikTok, and I am forever thankful because Palamino checked all the boxes to be a “Lisa band.” There is grit, emotional lyrics, and beautiful moments scattered within Palamino’s songs.

Why You Need To Listen To Palamino:

Recent Release:
Death Tapes Vol. 1 — This release is so hard-hitting, and if you have ever struggled with grief, watched someone struggle with grief, or resonate with hearing songs that pull out emotions, this is a release for you. Each song is about the passing of Pete Clark’s childhood friend. This EP takes you on a journey of processing the grief—from hearing the news, to processing the grief, and the funeral. If you are into being taken on a journey within music, this EP deserves the recognition.
