One thing as emo kids we can all agree on is how much we love a good trio. Three musicians, three songs on a LP, three bands playing a show, there’s something (apparently) innately punk about the number three. In keeping with that sacred trend, please allow me to introduce the next three-piece you’re going to want on your playlist: Reckless Giants. Jeremy (lead vocals/guitar), John (vocals), and Coty (drums) bring the brightest Florida sunshine to their pop punk jam with fun, energetic melodies and playful, sincere lyrics. Their vocal-forward sound stands out against the emo revival masses, earning them opening spots with beloved acts including Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Winona Fighter, and even collaboration with We The Kings. These self-described “backwoods pop punkers” have already started to make their mark on the scene; dropping over 10 singles since 2021 (including a delightful Christmas track) and an ear-catching EP earlier this year.
