Remember back in high school when our parents told us that “the nerds are going to come out on top when they grow up”? Turns out they were right. Dedicated gamers Nick, Marc, Jordan, and Mikey wear their nerd badges with pride as members of up-and-coming pop punk force, DoubleXP. Their playful vibes, and bright punchy sound earned them plenty of attention when their debut single, "All a Game", hit the streams in early 2026. DoubleXP draws heavily on the quintessential pop punk sound established in the early 2000’s, freshened up for contemporary listeners with a unique multi-vocalist approach to deliver catchy, high-energy tracks. In keeping true to their gamer-culture roots, the tracklist for their debut album, also titled All a Game, is packed with on-brand references, including "1HP", "God Mode", and "Save & Quit". For only having been on the scene for about six months, the guys of DoubleXP have made huge strides in establishing their position in the pop punk domain; I wonder where we will see them in a year. Warped Tour ‘27, maybe?

Interview
Cameron Conrad sits down with Nick Rossi, Marc Leveroni, Jordan Demerest, Mike Seney, and DoubleXP
What’s your dream venue, the place that will feel like you’ve “made it” once you've played there?
We love small, intimate shows more than anything, but obviously imagining yourself on a stage in any sort of stadium is a surreal thought. Main stage at Warped Tour is our dream at the moment if we had to pick one!
If you could pick any band or artist, past or present, to tour with, who would it be?
Blink-182
If each of you was a Disney character, who would you be?
Wheezy from Toy Story
Mike Wazowski
Crush from Nemo
Pumbaa from Lion King
What’s the craziest, cringiest thing you’ve done for the sake of your music?
Honestly, a lot of the content we do can be seen as cringey. But it is something we’ve embraced to an extent so we try to make it fun and funny more so than cringey. Nothing too crazy yet !
If we gave out high-school superlatives today, what would each of you win?
Class clown
Funniest laugh
Worst case of senioritis.
Most likely to be late to class (or forget it’s even happening)
Any new music or upcoming tours we should know about? Anything brewing behind the scenes you can give a hint about?
Album. summer. (Writer's note- find it on Spotify now!)
