A bunch of millennial musicians walk into a bar (... wedding), and the band ends the night without playing Mr. Brightside.
Actually it’s a terrible setup for a joke, but a grade-A origin story for your next favorite pop punk band. Jonathan Ronzio (vocals/guitar) began his music career as a solo artist; but his hobby evolved into a dream-come-true when he combined talents with his college roommate, Keith (keyboard) and happened upon Sam (drums), at an impromptu wedding performance alongside Noah Kahan.
Sadly, Noah wasn’t the right fit for the band, but once they found their final lineup with Alex on lead guitar, and Ben on bass, Ronzio the band came to life.
Since 2024, Ronzio has been hard at work, producing a series of thoughtful and artfully arranged singles with a full, vocal-forward sound and the kind of storytelling that draws your attention and holds it until the very last note. They’re latest single, "Beneath the Surface of the Sea", is a haunting and beautiful tale of living through heartbreak. With the promise of a full length album on the horizon, buckets of authenticity, and endless dedication, fans have a lot to look forward to from these Boston boys.
