Fall Out Boy Fans Surprised by Cork Tree Demos

@Fall Out Boy are spending Tuesday trying to unpack the mystery of the sudden appearance of a collection of From Under The Cork Tree demos that were believed to have been lost for years.

Late Monday Night, Reddit user sadiesknifetrick posted in the Fall Out Boy sub-Reddit

"So I got this CD in the mail titled "Fall Out Boy -- The Lost Songs" from IDK who today (DM me please so I can thank you). I had instructions to upload it to archive.org and share it... so I did just that.

All of the lost relics are now yours. <3
(Again, thank you mystery person. I love you forever.)

The post included a picture of the CD as well as a link to the songs archive.org

Over on X, Fall Out Boy Archive Team (@FallOutBoyAT) shared additional images that seem to indicated 10 such CDs have gone out with similar instructions and referencing the Secret Order, a Fall Out Boy fan community going all the way back to the days of livejournal.

As of this moment, questions are still swirling about whether these CDs have come from the band themselves, as part of a promotion, or by some random hero who had been sitting on these tracks for 20 years.
