One of the fastest-rising names in rock is ready for its next chapter.
History-making Atlanta rock/punk outfit The Paradox have officially announced their new six-song EP, Proceed with Caution, arriving October 2, alongside the release of the infectious new single and visualizer, "I Kinda Like That."
Fans may already recognize the track from the band's standout NPR Tiny Desk performance, but its online momentum has exploded in the weeks since. Teaser clips have already generated more than 3.3 million views on TikTok and 2 million views on Instagram, earning attention from artists including Tyla, Joe Jonas, Normani, and more.
The announcement comes at the perfect time, as The Paradox prepare to embark on their first-ever national headline tour, which is already proving to be a massive success with 14 dates completely sold out before the tour even begins.
Since forming in Atlanta in 2024, the four-piece has gone from viral newcomers to one of the most talked-about bands in alternative music. With more than 2.1 million followers across social media and a rapidly growing fanbase, the band continues to break barriers—earlier this year becoming the first all-Black band to reach No. 1 on Billboard's Alternative Airplay chart.
