The Imperfect Dads is a podcast dedicated to giving dads (and sometimes moms) the space to discuss the realities of being a parent.  We believe dads care deeply about their family but rarely get the space and opportunity to discuss the realities of being a parent. Our hope is to give dads the space to share the exhaustion and hilarious moments of trying to keep little humans alive and thriving.

Devon started this podcast when he lived in Nashville with his friend Justin. Devon’s background of studying music business and recording techniques and living in Nashville meant the podcast started to have a lot of musicians guests. In 2024 Devon moved from Nashville to Denver, Justin left the podcast to focus on career and family, and the podcast was rebranded to The Imperfect Dads podcast!

On this podcast you can find conversations with some of your favorite musicians (like from Mae, Braid, The Get Up Kids, Emery), authors, and everyday dads!  Mental health and creativity comes up in almost every episode. 

If you’re not a dad or not, this podcast is a gateway into the mental space, doubts, and highs and lows of life you won’t hear anywhere else!
