Sometimes Punk really is about the “fuck you” of it all. That couldn’t be more true for Philadelphia DIYer’s, Cheer Up Dusty. Built on stubborn perseverance and named to represent lead singer, Justin’s past artistic differences, Cheer Up Dusty make a bold statement about doing whatever the heck you want, regardless of anyone else’s opinions. Their sound is powerful, impossible to ignore; with driving melodies and brutally honest lyrics, they deliver the full punk rock experience. Amid their stubbornness is an insistence on keeping it truly DIY; between families and full time jobs, the guys of Cheer up Dusty do it all by themselves, for themselves. No labels or bookers to lay claim to their success. Fans looking for the band that tells unfiltered truth and sounds great doing it are sure to find something to love about these guys.

Cameron Conrad sits down with Cheer Up Dusty
What’s your dream venue, the place that will feel like you’ve “made it” once you've played there?
The Linc
If you could pick any band or artist, past or present, to tour with, who would it be?
Taylor Swift
If each of you was a Disney character, who would you be?
Bo peep and her sheep from Toy Story
What’s the craziest, cringiest thing you’ve done for the sake of your music?
It’s all cringe. But everyone wants to be Brad Pitt no one wants to be the theater kid. So we do it and we have fun.
If we gave out high-school superlatives today, what would each of you win?
I’m gonna be honest with you I have no idea what superlatives is. If we were in high school we’d just be the kids who don’t do any extra activities and go home to jam.
Any new music or upcoming tours we should know about? Anything brewing behind the scenes you can give a hint about?
New song March 2026 (find it on the Under Exposed playlist now!). A lot of shows. Currently writing more. And pushing internet content as much as we can cause ya know the future. Fuck AI
