Never A Phase Podcast alumni Scarlet Street are everything you want in a sad-boy band. Their songs face into some of the darkest parts of the human experience, with melancholy melodies and honest, pointed lyrics. Their sound is measured and intentional, drawing you into the moment with balanced arrangements and vibrant storytelling. Ben (vocals/guitar), Luke (guitar), Jake (drums), and Will (bass), aim to speak truth to power, disrupt toxic social norms, and champion the people society often casts aside.
Their second full-length record, “NO ALTERNATIVE”, released in 2025, pulls no punches in its scathing interrogation of the modern social media machine. Listeners seeking something beyond the topical tip-toeing rampant in popular music will find the depth and sincerity they crave in Scarlet Street.
