NO SKIP REVIEWS
Welcome to No Skip Reviews, a space where we only talk about the albums, concerts, and artists we genuinely love. This isn’t about critique or tearing anything down. It’s about celebrating the records we play front to back, the live sets that left us buzzing, and the bands that remind us why we fell in love with the scene in the first place. If it’s here, it’s because we couldn’t skip it and we don’t think you should either.
Under Exposed Artist Spotlight: Flwers
The kids are, in fact, alright; actually they’re better than alright, they’re killing it. Midwestern foursome Flwrs have survived the trauma of middle school hallways, cross country moves, even COVID… none of that was going to keep them from chasing their dreams. Twin brothers Collin (guitar/vocals) and Connor (bass/vocals) and their childhood friend Austin(drums) began playing together in their youth, continuing into their college years where they found lead guitar and vocalist Jack and with him their ultimate lineup.

Ecuadorian pop-punk soloist, Lord Sebastian, has joined the chat, too, and he has a lot to say.
Robb’s Recs: Cry January
Welcome to Robb’s Recs! A monthly article where I, a middle aged man (derogatory) suggest newer bands and artists to my fellow middle aged (complimentary) emo adults. I have obnoxiously declared 2025 the best year for emo (and emo adjacent) music in decades so 2026 has some big Toms to fill.
Robb’s Recs: December Downers
December is finally upon us and you know what that means! It’s list season! At this very moment, jits from every corner of the earth are writing their wish lists to the big guy while he’s checking and rechecking his list, making sure it’s perfect. That’s kind of an analogy for December, ya know?
Under Exposed Artist Spotlight: WEAREOKAY
Do you remember that one guy in high school? The gritty charmer who threw the wildest parties and never seemed to get in trouble? Well, he grew up, and today he’s cooler than ever.
