Safe in Sound is a podcast about the intersection of music and mental health, hosted by licensed mental health therapist Jeremy Houtsma. On Safe in Sound, Jeremy talks with musicians from the post-hardcore, emo, and punk scene about the challenges they have faced in their own mental health journey and how music has played both positive and negative roles. On the podcast, you’ll hear vulnerable and frank conversations about mental health topics like, ADHD, addiction, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and many other mental health topics with your favorite musicians. It’s not all that serious, though. Expect to have hear some laughs, fun facts, and other things you may not know about them.
